probably covered loads but

what sort of sound is it when the front drop links are going ???

took mr bongo out this morning was very cold weather up here
went over a few speed bumps heard what i would call a grating/grinding noise would`nt call it a clunk (when the droplinks on the citreon i have go it is a definate clunk)
has happened before but being very cold this morning made it more noticable but after a couple of mile and things have been warmed up or functioned a bit it stops

maybe the rubber on the drop links getting hard with the cold ??
ideas please ??

Tends to be a lightish (whatever that may be!) rattle when one wheel lifts or drops before the other - like hitting speedbumps at an angle. Mine were gradually becoming noisier then they rattled all the time as the plastic cup wears. I mentioned in a previous post, when replaced they makea helluva difference to the general feel of the van

Clogger - I get a bit of that sometimes when going over speed bumps in a cold Bongo. Its always done it and it disappears v quickly though so I've decided its nothing worth fretting about (but we'll see!). 8)
