turning mid seat round on a tin top

I have turned the seat round on my freetop bongo. Swapping the rails round etc
About to do it on a tintop with long rails.
whats involved? Both mid and rear seats slide on the same rails so I'm presuming I don't need to swap the rails left to right as you would with short rails. Is this correct?
I'll still need to remove the rails to take the end pins out so as to turn the mid seat sliding seat base around as with the freetop. Is this corect?
Thanks
