Japanese sat nav?

Has anyone had funny twin ariels on the back window for satnav? from Japan?

Not much help but I did see one with it at topsham cars exeter, , although i did notice the sat nav had been taken out of the van so it prob didnt work. :(

I am curious as to if the arial things are of any use for anything or just for scrap. They come in little sets of two.

Iv'e seen quite a few of them too m.c.... no idea if they work though.....

They are coming off as they are ugly and no one has recommended a use for them

One of the vans at the Shorne meet had these - two inverted v ariels on the back - I don't think they are for satnav - not GPS anyway. They look more like FM TV.

Mine's got them and I was told they were TV aerials that are no use in this country.

Could they be angled up into a "v" for victory sign for tailgaters?
