clicking noise from carbon canister/evap valve

hi all i own a p reg v6 and i get a clicking noise from under the passenger seat when driving at low speeds, the noise is definitely coming from the evap valve. i know they all click but i can realy hear mine when i have the passenger window down, any body ellse had this or am i just being panickety. or is ther a cure apart from wrapping it in foam
