Rear Fog Lamp Switch

Finally got around to replacing the horrible aftermarket switch for the rear fog light with one from a 626 the dash looks a lot better and it only cost £2 from a scrapyard and about 20 minutes to do. The 323 should have the same switch in it. :D :D

That's good to know, I've been looking out for a replacement, but any mazdas in scrappies locally seem to have the switches ripped out, have to keep looking 8)

There are two types of Mazda rocker switch which i have come across - illuminating ( small bulb slot on top - lights up when switch is in 'on' position ) or non illuminating.
Does the 'fog 'switch need to be the illuminating type for the MOT or can you get away with the plain one?

Just a quick update to my original post when you use the rear foglight switch from a 626 or a323 as well as the switch you need to get about 6 inches of the wiring coming out of the back of the switch and an led or similar to act as your fog lamp on light. The wiring up is quite straight forward you can pm me for any more info. Ian :)

Think I have one - non illuminating but the LED fix would sort it for MOT's You can have it if I can find in BigD

BigD Email me I have two - one with bulb and one without .Try them and make your choice then pass the spare on .The locating lugs may need fettling
