This may sound a little unconventional... sit in the bongo with the door open for around ten minutes, no radio,no chatting to pass the time, just you and those lovely beeps...leave the door open then remove the cowling, try again to dislodge the box, i GUARANTEE that it will come out this time!

Its amazing how much energy can be mustered when you are ready to kill!

Having a lowroof and a manual one at that, I don't suffer from many beeps :P but the door open when keys in ignition was a bit annoying. So I just disconnected the white plug under the steering wheel, as can be seen here. The continuous tone for lights left on still works.

STOP THE BEEP

great bit of advice might try that in the morning as the "Bleep" with the key in is a pain but still want the one for the roof ect. thanks for that one brorabongo

That is a good tip brora... Aitch? you would still have the roof beep with the entire box disconnected, the roof beep is from a different source

I did that, following advice on here - and my reversing beep now only works if the lights are on! Not too worried though, getting rid of the key-in-ignition beep is worth it :D

Love my beeps, its part of what gives the bongo its character. Wouldn't dream of giving it "the snip" Happy motoring.

Would like to disable the door and reversing beeps, while keeping the roof and lights. Any ideas which wires please?
