Fitting two cd players

I bought one of them flip up dvd players some time ago and replaced my old cd player with it, the downside is it's not the most user friendly for the radio and as a cd player . As there is is two DIN slots how feasible is it to put my old cd player back in as well and just use the dvd player for dvds?
Is there some sort of multi Iso conector on the market or is there another way.
Any help appreciated

I will be getting my Ali soon and as I am a blue light radio installer, I will be looking into the same kind of thing.
I want to fit a flip down screen in the roof and either connect to a DVD player in the back, or a flip up screen in the front on the additional output.
I will also be looking at fitting a games system, to keep the kids occupied of course.
I will post my process in due course.

if you connect the speakers to both systems you run the risk on knackering the amplifier outputs of both units if they are active at the same time and damaging the speakers.
it would be a cut and splice of the harness I haven't seen a multi ISO thingy before, but that doesn't mean there is not one available.
you could do it however I would not recommend. Or you could !!
get an amplifier with multiple inputs, replace the speakers for something more suited to an amplifier, connect the line outs to the amp. run new wires to the head units and amp (fused of course). run new speaker wires (thicker ones).

Splice...
I've got an in dash DVD/TV/Radio pop outy 7" screen thing which has its own amplifier, along with a hard disk MP3 player that also has its own amp. I basically spliced the two into one loom, but as BongoJim mentions you run the risk of them hitting each other if you haver both on at once...
So I got a three way switch from Maplin which switches the ACC so it can only be to one set at a time so you can't 'cross the beams'. Easy.

Or you could fit some diodes.
The double pole switch is probably the easiest way, switching power between DVD or CD player.
There is always an answer Jim, no need to panick...lol.
As for the ISO lead, I am looking at taking some old telephone mute units and making up a few Double to single adapters. All depends if they are standard ISO's of course.

Got the thing all wired up and managed to either turn one or the other, tried to connect to the speakers but only succeeded in popping a speaker, so in the end just gave the dvd player its own set of speakers. Not quite how i hoped but lessons learnt none the less.
