I cannot for the life of me remember if I put 10/40 or 15/40 in last time and does it matter, also anyone know of the oil filter part number re blueprint or other, I have tried the search but get gobbledegook back. I know it takes 6 and a half litres but mind gone blank. Happy motoring.

I can't remember what you put in last time either  But, no it doesn't matter IMO. If your mileage is high I would go for 15w/40 (I do anyway & Mine has only done 25k miles.)
Filter number.
either
1. buy from Der Feuhrer or
2. ring your local friendly motor factor & ask him!

found it now, I used 15/40. Just picked up an oil filter from my local factors for £9.99, now to get good and grubby. Happy motoring.

Hi,
Does it matter what 15/40 oil you get , Mineral ? Synthetic , Semi synthetic,? :?:

I have seen mineral turbo diesel oil in screwfix for £7-00 for 5 litres and Castrol synthetic for £25 for 5 litres

What is the most suitable for Bongo ?

Picked mine up from lidl of all places for £6.95 for 5 litres, used it before and it seems really good stuff, made in germany and you know they dont put up with the crap that most companies push on us brits. The filter is actually a mazda make too and at 10 quid cannot be a bad buy. Happy motoring.
