Bongo Fury

Not sure if this is a common problem but my wipers travel too far and overshoot the windscreen by about 2 inches making a horrible clank every time, does anyone have a solution to this?

It sounds like someone has had them off before and not positioned them back on properly.
The whole arms will have to come off again and be adjusted slightly.Is it the drivers side that is a fault if so it may be only this one that needs adjusting

Under the grommet (bung) there is a spigot that the arm sits onto You will need to pull the arms away from this (it will be easier to remove the arm with it bent away from the windscreen) then reposition on the spigot to give clearance.Its a bit awkward as the bonnet gets in the way a bit.
Its easier in practise rather than describing how to do it!!

Make sure the arms are back onto spigot fully before closing your bonnet after adjustment there isnt much room between the bonnet edge and the arm its easy to damage the edge paintwork if the wiper is not engaged properly.
