Hi guys

Im sure this will be covered somewhere else but I cant find it by using the search, so apologies.

My wife told me today that the handbrake light flashed when she set off from a junction. Hasn't done it before and not since.

What does this mean?

many thanks

boyzie

Probably means the handbrake wasn't fully off, and the movement when pulling away, just made a brief contact. If it's OK now, I wouldn't worry.

on some cars the handbrake light is also a low brake fluid indicator, may be worth just checking
