hello fellow bongoers,
my little bongo's airbag light recently started to flash (6 then pause). I was hoping for some advice as to;
i) undertsand what it means
ii) stop it flashing
i think it started when i slipped the bongo into a low gear setting by mistake whilst on the move.
many thanks in advance.

Probably thought you'd hit a wall
Seriously tho' better get it checked. It may just be a wonky connection, but it may be more serious.

It's always worth looking at the sensor in the seat. They have a habit of working loose and it will upset the system.

Does the airbag need replacing after 10 years? I think this was the case when they first came out but not sure now?

thanks for all the suggestions, i did put water in (which worked for an hour or so), oil in just in case, also moved seats back and forth which did not work. i will try and locate the seat sensors and give them a wiggle to see if that works and let you guys know if it does the trick.
thanks and please keep more suggestions/theories coming.

I remain to be be convinced that an airbag warning light actually exists.
Certainly on our '99 New Shape with twin airbags there were no sensors in the seats.
