new boy can't get them up..seats that is

can't work out how to fold and stow my rear split seats :oops: ...... any clues plz????
I can get them flatout and up, but don't they fold over back down on the squab?
no doubt I'll learn the truth!

They are stowed flat, with the backrest down - there should be a strap on them that hooks to the handle above.

fold them completly flat then pull the little ring to undo the floor lock ,lift up and fold the seat leg flat, then use the strap to hook over the handle.

Can these fold up seats be retro fitted in a Bongo that had two bench seats and long runners? I.E. is there the neccisary mounting gubbins behind the side panels and under the carpet if all the missing fold up bits are obtained.

the mounting for the seats fit on top of the wheelarch and bolted on,should be holes there if your lucky and there is a small plate on the floor what the seat locks onto, again two bolts.

Cheers folks looks like missus neepboy's right again...oh the shame :oops: The ones in our Pajero do fancy flip over stuff i thought the bongo would do the same...man will I hear all about it now...let the gloating commence
