Bongo Fury

I have recently taken ownership of a 1997 2.5 V6 Bongo of which I am inordinately proud!

A question, after starting up the engine and driving for around 5 mins I get a rhythmic clicking noise coming from the passenger side of the vehicle. My mechanic has had a look and thinks the clicking is coming from a cylindrical 'box' low down by the footwell, which he said could be a vacuum box. Is this clicking normal? Does anyone know what causes it?

Since taking delivery of our V6 last September we've covered about 6000 kilometeres (3700 miles) and we've heard no clicking as you describe. The only ancillary below the passenger seat is the alternator. Cannot suggest cause of the clicking, but it is not normal and advise you to return the vehicle to the seller for further investigation.
