Sorry, it is Christines (wife) 50 birthday party that weekend and we are having a big family reunion. Would not be good form for the guest of honour not to be present. Anyway, have a good time, I think the idea is great, bridging the north/south gap so to speak. Hope you can get a bigger response, will I see any of you at the welsh meet later this month

Gutted from Norwich here. We are in Greece on 7th Sept, Oh bugger, we would have been well up for that, meeting all our Northern friends (met a few at Dent in March brrrr).

Maybe if it's successful another one could be arranged when we are in the UK ... please, pretty please ...

I missed this thread as was on hols and it didnt show up on the see new posts tool that I rely 100% on.

Cant make that w/e as we have BF Winsford, BF Silverdale, eldest daughter choosing universities outings etc. etc. filling up the month and into early October.

If the concept can be revived for next Spring, I'd be well up for it
