Bongo Fury

My Bongo's playing up again for the second time this year! having already replaced all the roll bar bushes a passenger side lower wishbone and all its ancillary belts + a major service its now repaying me with....
A leaking radiator from the top (not the cooling fins) from what I can see.
The Driver side lower wishbone.
(And this is not really a new problem had it since I bought it) but the fuel and temp gauge do not work.
The temp gauge comes to life occasionally but the fuel gauge stopped working about two days after I bought it.

So my question is has any one ever had there radiator repaired on a bongo and I really need my temp and fuel gauge fixed, Im aware of the fix with the connections on the sender unit but I have a kitchen right on top of it plus It seems to much of a coincidence that both the fuel and temp gauge do not work could it be anything else? and has anyone else experienced this problem?

If your rad is one of the plastic topped ones and is leaking around the seam forget about repairing it. I had that last year and wasted a lot of time.

There are some cheap rads available on Ebay and I fitted one myself easily (I'm no mechanic)...there is a factsheet on the members area.

Can't help with the rest but sounds like a loose fuse or leccy connection.

Yea I was gonna say basics first check and remove and replace the fuses just in case sometimes just taken em out, cleaning the ends and putting em back can cure the problem. If not is there a bongo selling dealer close to you, they must have a mechanic for their bongos and I am sure they would help, mine does and quite reasonable on charges too plus they should have any bits needed. Worth a go anyway. Good luck and happy motoring.
