Photo of rubber suspension component

Post by littlerichley » Sun Jun 24, 2007 6:53 pm

Hi - I saw a post a while back which had a photo (taken by Simon Jones I think?) showing a large block of rubber on a metal bracket which looks like some form of suspension overide protection? I've tried various search phrases, but have been unable to locate it. I need to get hold of one and thought the photo would come in handy. Many thanks. Richard

Dabs - many thanks for your quick reply. It's not quite like this - I think it might be the 'other' one you referred to? It is a very solid block of rubber with a semi-circle taken out on one side? Getting close I think!

Littlerichey, I've had a trawl thru my piccies & can't find any that relate to suspension bits. So far, touch wood, no probs with suspension other than front drop drinks needing replacement. Good luck in you search.

ParkerNorris - Many thanks - this is the photo and thread I was looking for.

Simon (J) - my memory failed me - it was posted by SimonT. Sorry for the false alarm.

We were driving one day and heard a 'clunk'. Our daughter in the rear facing seat saw an object in the road. We stopped and I ran back to retreive the item in the photo. Decided after a while it was in the road already as it seemed too big for a bongo part - more like a lorry part!

Unfortunately it is now mislaid so I am trying to locate another one?

Thanks again both - much appreciated! Richard
