Bongo Fury

please help

i have just bought a new set of 16" alloys from a breakers yard off a ford probe.

I have just been told at the tyre place that the new tyres supplied with the wheels aere not the right ones for the bongo.

can anyone tell me the correct size of the tyres |I need for 16" wheels which will give me the correct sizing so that the speedo will record correctly and wont damage the diff etc?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Depends on what width you want to fit - have a look at this http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html - you can use it to decide the combination you want.

But make sure the load rating is sufficient - many previous threads - two or three in the last month - use search "tyre AND size", or scroll down in this section of the forum, or in 'Pimp my Bongo', there is also a factsheet for members which will give you details.
