Im about to try and fit the electrics on my towbar not sure where's best to tap in.
The towbar went on fine but when it comes to wizardry (electronics) i'm not really up to scratch! Any ideas please?

the best place is behind one of the light clusters there is a rubber gromet just pull it out and feed your wires through and into the existing wireing. then replace the gromet and light cluster ( 2 screws hold the lights and they slide sideways be gentle they are expensive to buy )

You'll need to connect in to both the left and right-hand clusters in order to tap-off the indicator circuits. I ran a couple of wires from the right-hand cluster (brake light and indicator) to the other side and made all my connections behind the left-hand cluster. I understand that you can access all the appropriate wires behind one of the interior panels, but I have a rear conversion so I used the easier method!

I took the rear side panel off altogether (near-side) and then ran a single wire to the other side under the rear strap which you need to take off for drilling anyway for connecting to the off-side indicator just partially removed panel. The panels come off easy with a little care. Mine being an eight seater I just moved both benches as far forward as poss. I got an idea how to do it from the factsheet in members area.

There is an easier way.
You dont need to bring the wires inside the van at all. I just took three one way and four the other behind the bumper. Then you connect in behind the light cluster. The wires go up the corner of the bumpers and behind the lights. Make sure they are well sealed to prevent moisture getting in.
No pratting around inside the van and saves loads of time.

Thats how I did it too monkey - but if you want a constant live then you'll need to feed one into the van.
