Alarm fitted to Bongo - works a treat!

Having had the Bongo for a few weeks we were getting very nervous about leaving it places without an alarm. The dealer we bought it from wanted about £400 + VAT to fit one bit just had one done by a security form who advertise on ebay. Cost £245 including fitting and the motor to get the remote central locking working. It's a Toad AI607 alarm and immobiliser which is Thatcham category 1 rated and seems secure.

They are mobile so fit at your home or place of work. Took about 4 hours but he wasn't rushing.

Oops - that should be Toad ai606, not ai607!

Going to France in the summer so needed an alarm as all our worldy posessions will be in there!

well now everyone knows what model you have.................if your bongo goes missing you know why :!: :lol: :lol:


not bad price that including fitting for a cat 1 :D

as much as I like my Bingo I'm not sure they are a high priority target for the professional car thief!

Hey I reckon alarms are a must have after parking outside a police station in Rome and coming back to find my old VW camper cleaned out - clothes, shoes even deoderant!! Had to laugh... Didnt have far to go to report it!
