Idle adjust screw?

I could have a field day with that simple statement!

It's the pedant in me.

Not certain there is one, probably done electronically.

Sorry Bongo Badness...drifting off topic again I think.

We really need to know what model of bong/engine you've got

derv/petrol etc

even then there are variations.

cheers

I think you lot need to get some! I did not realize the noun "screw" was so emotive, what happens when you mention stop cocks or is that a sore point.

it's a '97 2.5td 4wd, all i want to do is adjust the idle speed a little.

Meanwhile I'll try to find the link for you.

Do you want to increase or decrease the idle speed?

If it's idling too high then it could be the solenoid on the pump thats faulty - it allows a fast idle facility for cold starts and the aircon.
