You wont find one as there isnt one - If there is, then it is well hidden, but you do not need it for registration. All the info you need will be on your japanese deregistration / export certificate. The DVLA will then take this off you and usually return it with your paperwork.

Well done DemonAV - I think there is an urban myth that the Bongo doesnt have one (which does/did seem odd). you seem to have blown that out of the water

Ah gotcha now Pippin. Mistook your 2nd para for you logo (I do that a lot - the logos cause me to miss the end of postings). Yes, I knew I was using advanced idiomatic English when I wrote it. But I thought hey, if it is baffling then he'll say 'I'm baffled' and I/we'd explain. He might be amused then to pick up on English idioms. And I/we'd enjoy a good chat with him (you know me

).
Bottom line is though that he is to be complimented on his Bongo knowledge (I've noticed this from him before - he's a bit like grumpo - suddenl pops up out of nowhere and lets off a dazzler). It seems even the DVLA have given up expecting to get the engine number for a Bongo
Wot me devious
Mike

Don't worry guys, I'll translate him, in particular about what sort of good chap he is...
