Bongo Fury

I have recently had my Autobox give up on me and need replacing. The garage Team Valley Transmissions (TVT) from Newcastle said they would get me a reconditioned box for just under £1200. I thought this was a bit steep and shoped around. Via the web I have found a used one with 3 month warranty for £400 including VAT and postage.
I informed my garage that I had found a Autobox for them to fit from a spares company and they would be sending it direct to them. TVT have now turned round and said they would not fit it, and that I would need to find someone else.

SO PLEASE, does anyone now a good garage in the Newcastle area that would fit it.

Barstewards - hope you find someone. TVT were probably unhappy cos' they probably got a few hundred out of that £1200.

Thats what I was thinking

......or TVT don't want the additional hassle if the s/h 'box is faulty - I've been there with customers - when one shits on you you're VERY reluctant to be caught out again.............

The latest in the Autobox story.

TVT have received the Autobox and Torque converter and have now changed their minds again and have said they will fit it.

The parts must be ok then.
