Electric window very slow

My driver and passenger side electric windows are very slow to start, then they pick up speed after a couple of inches, and are fine the rest of the way.

Any suggestions on how to get them moving smoothly?

Sounds like the channels need a little lubrication.

thought it'd probably just need a clean and lube.

How do I sort it? Remove door panel, bottle of lube in hand?

Good Heavens - we are keen to make work!!
No mate, just lower the windows and stick some light oil (or silicone spray is better, if you've got it) in the side channels, then raise the windows again - job done.

Excellent, nice and easy. :D

I'll make myself a cuppa after work tomorrow, dig out some lube, and play with the windows.

Then I'll re-assault the decal with the hairdryer and destroy the rest of my nails!

Time I tried driving the Bongo for once, instead of pulling it apart  !

Don't forget to clean the glass as well and wipe the rain channel rubbers, I have to to it regularly because of the huge sycamore trees in my garden gunging up the windows with sap. Happy motoring.
