Re: Wellington Country Park 29th to 31st July Reading
Hi all,
As some of you know we've been trying to work out a problem for the age old access problems some have with the existing flap in the bongo's. We came up with an idea and 321 went with it.
Here's the link to pics and what was done.
http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 7&start=15
They're now offering it and are quite near the Reading meet so they've said they would cut up some of their existing roofs and fit them at the meet if anyone wants one. If you do you can contact them on 0118 932 8232 to pre-book. It costs £110 plus VAT... Highly recommend it as it works perfectly for the kiddy and adult solution without carrying around hefty bed boards that weigh a ton Half the price of what another company wanted to design our roof the way we wanted and we don't have the weight to carry around
Looking forward to meeting old and new friends... got to get the fairy outfit sorted now

Just to bump this back up and ask about the bikes again - are we allowed in the park after closing time and if so can we go on our bikes then, or can we just fit cardboard stabilisers to them and say they are children's bikes

Hi I live about 30 mins away so hoping to get there. Do you book via Wellington Country Park? Or book with someone here at Bongo Fury?

Not long to go now Not sure how we'll all be able to meet up with day visitors as I'm assuming they'll have to park outside the campsite.
Maybe we should pass on a mobile number to the day visitors so we can co-ordinate to meet up? Any suggestions?

I would hope that with a little explaining at reception of the situation they would be be ok with day visitors calling in on members who are camping. May be some of you know differant?

The website does say you need to contact someone camping there if you want to visit. I've already made arrangements as I'll be coming for just the Saturday.

Looking forward to it and hope we get to meet you. We'll probably be in the country park somewhere on the Saturday but back at camp by 5pm to cook the kids tea and get the BBQ goingJillygumbo wrote:The website does say you need to contact someone camping there if you want to visit. wooo hooo can't wait to see you guys again Oh and by the way.. apparently the roof has been named "catflap"
But it's not my patent it's Chris's, but 321 felt that catflap sounded better than Chrisflap...
