You cant beat a dingle dongle thingy....
Well I thought I should do it right as it was only a 20 mile run for me....... then anyone thinking of coming could have made their minds up whether they would come or not......... Wormey was already nearby, Ginge came up from Essex and Muz from Manchester...... Ginge said there was heavy rain when he left home rather than the snow.....
Thanks again all who ventured across, up and down ....... see some of you again in 2 weeks at Bakewell.... sorry the weather wasn't as forecast...... but it was fun anyway

Could be a plan. I fancy one of those ducks to go on the barbecue on the Saturday night as well

I'm up for it. The ducks did look well fed, and tasty
I have found this campsite that looks really good, the hens look good.

looks okay and there is this one........
http://www.rutlandcaravanandcamping.co.uk/fees.html £4.90 inc electric for CC members & £5.90 inc electric if your not a CC member......
So we could do Rutland Water 3 with an overnighter........
I was also thinking on the lines of what the 2CVGB used to do....... pinching their ideas.... they had a Wicked Winter Camp....in fact it was around Bonfire night in early November, so not really winter....but being 2CV's they camped in tents no in the warmth of a Bongo on hook up...

..... must give it some thought...... maybe somewhere with a pub with food on site or nearby....

Isn't that plus £4.70 per adult and £1.50 per child?
