Re: Battery tester for leisure battery.
I got around to testing my 4 lead voltage display jobbie today, connected the power supply & measurement leads together, worked fine, might get around to fitting it at some point
Got my eye on sticking it in the silly little cubby hole to the right of the steering wheel, maybe, I want it switchable between the 2 batteries on a push to make basis.
Going to have to go over my round tuit list for the new year

I'm super duper pleased with the result I got with mine by using the space of 3 switch blanks (after removing the vertical internal dividers) and using a piece of mousemat neoprene tuype rubber as a gasket. Depends if yours is the right size to fit but when I researche these things they seemed to be in two different sizes, one of which was perfect.missfixit70 wrote:I got around to testing my 4 lead voltage display jobbie today, connected the power supply & measurement leads together, worked fine, might get around to fitting it at some pointGot my eye on sticking it in the silly little cubby hole to the right of the steering wheel, maybe, I want it switchable between the 2 batteries on a push to make basis.

Most of my switches are being used or have things already planned for them
Looks like it's a pretty good fit in the cubby, unless I come up with a silly idea in the meantime

Re: Battery tester for leisure battery.
Depending on the slack on the cables, it should go over to the switch bank on the other side...Easy enough to extend the cables a little i'd have thought...
Is it an original mazda switch, or an aftermarket item?

Or put the meter on t'other side, or in the little cubby hole to the right of the steering wheel.
