Nice to see everyone again, and great meeting lots of new people.
I do however think that the name for the meet should be changed.
Southern softies meet, it's just not right, I think I speak for everyone when I say that we quite tough, braveing the heat of the day and the cold of the night.
I did'nt even wear a vest.
Bit of a shame Crazy let us down with his pink blanket.
May be next year we could change it to " The quite tough, but not as tough as the northeners meet".

I will have you know, my pink blanket came to the rescue at the end of the weekend.
Low and behold, as we approach home, we decide to pop in our local for a final pint (or so we thought!).
Well 'pink blanket to the rescue'! A little old lady fell down the steps at the pub, we had to call an ambulance with a suspected broken leg.
Yes, she was suffering with shock and shivering - so 'Pink blanket to the rescue'.
So a few more pints later, we've just arrived home, pink blanket in tow and about to crawl into bed! - Without the 'Pink Blanket' I'd like to add!
Great weekend, see you again soon.

What a great weekend. Thanks to Ian as always for the organisation.
There must have been an alternative Bongo "meet" somewhere - we saw 8 Bongos on our way home going the other direction on the M25 and M23!
See you all at Lymington?

As you can see Chris & Jem brought absolutely nothing with them
Apart from the best fibre optic show I have ever seen on a camp site
(put Blackpool to shame) but it was the only way Chris could find his way back to his Bongo

PS - I FORGOT ABOUT THE POSH BEDSIDE LAMP

Im just glad the m.c.b. (fuse) held long enough for everyone to see it.
Sunday morning it did'nt, we got milk Saturday for coffee, just before are gas bottle ran out. Sunday morning the fuse triped out so the lights and are small fan heater were useless. Still, great time was had.
I'm suprised nobody has mentioned crazy uncle gray's "lazy lobb" , his cider that is.

No it was the middle of the afternoon, Bongologist! You must have lost a few hours somewhere (can't imagine why

).
