For those of you thinking of taking bikes, there are details of the various leisure trails here - http://www.chasetrails.co.uk/leisure-cycling/

and cross-country trails here - http://www.chasetrails.co.uk/xc/

and downhill trails here - http://www.chasetrails.co.uk/downhill/

and trail maps here - http://www.chasetrails.co.uk/maps/

Muz Jr recommends against the Monkey Trail unless you really know what you're doing but the various trails are marked out with coloured way-markers along the routes so they're easy enough to follow

With unerring whatever, trouble has struck. Tooth infection and emergency extraction, still in a lot of pain so have to see how recovery goes. Gear all ready but I can see us possibly not getting down tomorrow though will try our damnedest to come down on Saturday and, all being well, stay over Saturday night. Will keep all posted and really sorry about it - we've been looking forward to this for weeks. :-(

We're just setting off, toothlessness notwithstanding. Is there a particular area we should try and pitch in assuming we get the choice? See you there :-)

You should have free choice, assuming you're the first Bongo there just pick a spot with plenty of space for the rest of us

We'll be there in the afternoon, the women are out on the razz tonight and Muzette has weightlifting in the morning. Anyone who's running dangerously low on bacon or Spam by then let me know

We're safely installed, first to arrive, last to finish setting up, no change there then ha ha. Baz here, also Bert & Ernie and a couple of humans they brought with them. Lovely peaceful spot. Now about to rest the space where a tooth used to be. See the rest of you tomorrow. zzzzzzzz :-)

Yup. Trees keep the window at bay. Overcast so should mean night time temps don't drop so much. We're having a busy time doing nothing. Lubbly jubbly. 8)
