Pick a date and location and throw it out there and wait to see what response you get

You thinking of a day-meet or camping - you've just missed a camping weekend in sweltering conditions in Matlock :?

If you want a daymeet just call it..........make it a day to suit you...and time (Sundays seem to work out best!) and make sure the location has a good car park with toilets etc.Good ones round your area are Pennington Flash nr Leigh...or Haig Hall Wigan.

Call it and see how it goes... always someone will turn up for a chat!

I willl leave that one with you........if you think its viable............I wouldnt think so myself! Commercial parks, businesses, shopping centres wouldnt take kindly to a shed load of Bongos turning up.......however Parks, outdoor spaces, local beauty spots etc etc have never proven to be a problem for Day Meets.

Places such as Ikea and commercial car parks have time limits on how long you stay, and to be honest i dont want a thousand people looking at the bongo before they go shopping [-X
Your better of with places like Dabs has mentioned, Pennington flash, Haigh hall, or some other country park.
At the day meets you can get as few as 3 or 4 bongo's, or as many as 20 to 30 bongo's turning up ,so you have to choose the place carefully.

Didnt think of that.
Do you ever do car shows?
When I had my Bedford CF we did quite a few shows by posting on the forum, and one person booking us all in, many organisers are happy to let groups of more modern stuff in and its usually a good day out for free or a small payment

Speaking for myself I wouldn't do a car show  , loads of people looking and maybe even getting in and out of the bongo, not for me [-X .
Its not too bad when its just a few nosey people or even the the ones considering buying a bongo and asking questions.
