Debs
All that sunshine we had! Still don't quite understand how we ended up with a big puddle of water in the fire LOL
Our base tent still stinks of the fire... couldn't get it closer if we had tried

This allows for 54 seats. If we need any more than that - Tough!!

I just had a quick trawl thro this and altho I don't know everybody I think there maybe over your 54 already

how you gonna sort it??
I'm happy to give up my seat and do a tour elsewhere for anybody that can't make it

Hmmm, 40 pitches x average 3 per Bongo = 2 carriages minimum
Alternatively, we could mobilise some Bongos to take the rest and think of the photo opportunities
a. from the train of a convoy of Bongos in stunning countryside
b. from the Bongos of a bunch of nutters hanging out of the windows of a narrow-gauge train

Mmmm now reconsidering this meet as I may not be able to get to Southern Softies the week after. How many have booked so far? Last count on 9 October was 21 out of 40. I was wondering if I could leave it till later before deciding....

There's a good discounted rate for group bookings at Portmeirion...
http://www.portmeirion-village.com/cont ... D=72;lID=1
...as long as only one payment is made. This has got to be a plan
Some pricing detail for the train part...
http://www.welshhighlandrailway.net/fares.htm
...one child free, additional children half fare. Train could be expensive (hopefully discounted) but a breathtaking trip

As I understand it, £19.00 per pitch per night is a discounted rate
