Hi Bongoers
This will be my first time at the bongo bash from reading everything above it sounds great, my question is if it starts mid week could i come and camp from the sunday / monday as i would like to have a weeks holiday including the bongo bash ? I have an awning and dont wont to put it up and then have to move it again !
I am very happy to help out in any way at the start of the week as part of the working party / rallie crew ?

Does anyone know what difference there is between full electric hookup and 'light' electric hookup, apart from the price and difference in minimum nights? Surely it doesn't mean you can only power lights from it!

Light electric hookup is when you piggy back on another. In other words, you share the electric point. Therefore, you have to be a little more considerate as to what you run on the leccy to avoid overload!

Sorry, just spotted this. There is a rally in the field from the previous week that ends on Monday, Tuesday is used for grass mowing & setting up of marquees etc, so the earliest you can arrive is Wednesday lunch time. If you are interested in volunteering, keep an eye here on the forum in case we need any more.

Have only just bought our Bongo so will look forward to the opportunity to spending a few nights in it, should have an awning by then. Will prob come Friday, Sat. Sun. Very interested in the visit to Cosford too. Hope the trip isn't booked up by the time we can book on the 8th.
