They say on their website "no open fires", but seem happy enough for BBQ's, so I'd have though she'd be ok, doesn't let the grass scorch, cook your food on it then chuck a few logs in to keep warm later? what do you reckon?
I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone & Dorothy, she looks like a really useful friend to have

You can all be friends of Dorothy if you want

Probably on my own. Chris is working I think. Might be able to persuade Chaz to come along but I doubt it.

We'll be there for Satuday night, arriving about 14.00 as Mrs B is working in the morning.
Looking forward to it.

If we do decide to stay Saturday evening, can we just ring the site the day before & let them know, or does it all have to arranged by this weekend?

They say that providing the weather holds out the site will be open, I also explained that there would be a few of us, on both counts they suggested that I ring them again a few days before the 10th October just to confirm the arrangements. So if you peeps just let me know yay or nay, then I'll try to keep count of the number of bongo's going so that I can confirm on the 7/8th October. The site is over an acre (any idea's how many bongo's you could fit in an acre? - not that I'm assuming we will fill it but ....). Its a fairly basic site but a nice location and the pub serves good food for those who can't be a....d to cook!
If the weather is OK I may go over there on the friday night, Cost is £5.00 per person per night £2.50 for under 12's.
Sorry I can't be more precise and lets keep our fingers crossed for the weather.
Alex
OK is there still room for one more Bongo and two people ? Myself and Evil Edna.
If so will drive up Saturday AM and depart Sunday PM.

Nice one guys, this could be shaping up for a good meet

Lets pray for the weather

Is the plan for everyone to bring a bit of something food/drink wise & all pitch in? Maybe an idea to bring a couple of gazebos just in case?
