Hopefully Mike I had a brief chat with owner this morning, he is happy that we are returning, think we can sort out hook ups as we arrive, what time are you arriving, we hope to be there 6ish

Not sure what the exact position is with the hook ups, I know that they have been working over the winter months on the electrics etc, so hopefully all who need hook ups will be catered for

I know I am not arriving till the morning and I imagine any hookups will be gone but I thinkI will bring the light and radiator -just in case:) i will bring the torch and hot water bottle too though

dont foget fan cooler and suntan lotion, heres hoping its a warm one, its snowing here now.

I'm still hoping to get over to Stainforth at some point over the weekend, preferably Fri - Sun but very doubtful..
More likely Sat PM to early Sun (a short overnight)....even possibly a flying visit for a couple of hours.
Hence the reason for not making any booking/firming up until now.
I'll take pot luck on pitches/getting onto the site...I know the setup there so no probs.

Mini mc is going to my parents on friday evening so we will get up, have breakfast and set off without too much faffing with mini mc at the sametime.

Hi Pete.....I feel such a fool have only just spotted the Stainforth meet..........and now I cannot come Hope you all have a super weekend.

Neil n Lynzy(daughter) will,if ok,be bringing their friends Mark and lynn,(who came with them to Hawes),they are showing an interest in buying a Bongo,and want to see what "the family" and our meets are all about. If OK they will be staying in their awning.We shouod be there 7-7.30 ish,and if hook up is available,can you site us near/next/within cable distance to each other and we will share the hook up.

Well the meet is almost upon us

We have yet to confirm how many electric hook ups will be available, but I can tell you that these will be charged at £2 extra per night.

On arrival please check into reception - £10.00 cash REFUNDABLE deposit will be required for your gate 'key'. Give your name to the receptionist and tell them you are with the BONGO party. I will collect money from you once you have settled and pay the campsite on block.

There is no charge for day visitors

Because some will be arriving late on Friday, this will be a 'chill' time where everyone does their own thing. Saturday morning we hope to get any gazeebos up so there is a communal meeting place. Party games will start in the late afternoon with a break for a BBQ/tea.
