A brief update on the Nufbus.
When we were at the Southern Softies we had our first kip with the new seating arrangement. We used the mattress from the AFT over the seats and it was very comfie; so much better than with the old bed blocks that came with the conversion. With the seats down, the bed filled the space from the back of the front seats to the rear door.Loads of room!

Just had a problem with the ABS light; rear wheel fouling wiring, fixed with electrical connectors and loads of tape. Light now works as per normal!
Still haven't fixed the hooter  but will do it when I go back to Kent after the Bash.
See you all at the Bash. :D :D :D

Short trips in the Nufbus (1)
Hi everyone,

On the way round we celebrated mine and my brother's birthday, Dylan and Oscar's christening, bought a Gobur folding caravan.
We went to the Bongo Summer Camp at King's Lynn and meet old friends and made new friends. After that it was on to the Wirral where me and Sue saw Carl Chase in 'Hank Williams, the show he never gave' at the Pacific Arts Centre in Birkenhead. A celebration of the very short life of Hank Williams in song, slide-show and narration, excellent entertainment, Carl does a good show.
In October we did an online Self Assessment form for the HMRC. God knows what the result of that will be!
I even got to fix my hooter, with the help of Mr Lambert.
Oh, and of course, we now decorating both Emma's and Andrew's houses. I thought that retirement meant a cushy life!
So, there you go. Hope you are all enjoying the Bongos as much as we are.
Look forward to seeing you all in the coming year.

Great to hear from you P&S - been wondering how you were.

Unreliable old bangers these Bongos eh? OK for short runs down to the shops but I wouldn't trust them for travelling round the UK

I only hope I may one day get to enjoy the same Bongoingly good retirement you two seem to be having 8)

Nice to hear from you Mike.
