Theres a great number of reasons for a good life style of living in Cornwall, but it's a bit out of the way when it comes to travelling to meets such as this. Looks like it was a good one.

The Guy with this builder's van (yes, a builder's van!) Must have thought it was a Freda!

And i could see me loading manky skips onto this everyday! (not!) I'd have to carry a portable jetwash everywhere with me so i could wash the skips before hoisting them on!

When you consider that most of the vehicles are actually the drivers homes for the majority of the time, i guess you can see why they have an affinity for them.. Everyone likes a nice home! :D I really can't see where they find the time to maintain them from the rigours of the work they endure each day... Take that skip lorry pictured above, at a casual glance you'd think, oh aye...58 reg, hasn't had chance to get mankied up yet...look again, Y reg! I've seen Rollers and beemers newer than that in nowhere near as good condition... Ya gotta appreciate the passion and effort that goes into these vehicles.

Fantastic art work =D> =D> =D> Very photo realistic  It's a shame though...when you look at the green cab with Max & Paddy on it.... look over to the left of the picture of Max's head, you get a really realistic image of Max with a camera round his neck.... The lad's let himself go a bit , don't ye think

Finally got access to the computer #-o yet another great meet and the sun stayed with us all day =D> good to see all the old faces again - well a bit older than they were last time I saw them. The trucks on display were a credit to the owner / drivers and watching some of them polishing them made me realise polishing a Bongo isn`t that hard. One driver was polishing the alloy wheels on his truck - not hard you think - but he was driving an eight wheeled tipper. A great first meet Ste. Roll on Southport.
