The bongo sprang a leak!

Got to get it fixed, it's pinholed the pipe to the rear heater matrix near the started motor.

Question is, is now the time to learn to bleed a bongo or should it go to mr Taylor's emporium.

Let's hope it's fixed in time....

Oh Graham ! Your poor Bongo. What bad luck :( I am no technie as you know, so don't understand the problem, but I really hope it gets fixed in time. Really looking forward to seeing you again.

Hi Anna

I'd just set off to L'pool with the bongo full of stuff to spend the weekend working on the in-laws house when the mason alarm went across to the far side almost. Pulled into a garage, got recovered home and then swapped all the junk from the bongo to the other car and got to L'pool 3 hours later than planned.

Going to have few beers and work out what to do.

What a pain

What a day  I would relax for a little while after all that! and then decide. Is there anyone in your area who can help , when you get back?

Spent yesterday and today working in the house that jack built, back home now thinking about bongo repairs. It's probably going to go to Ian Taylor's in Market Drayton, this 'bleeding' routine malarkey is a pain. I did it once before myself but want to be sure it's done right.

Shall keep you informed.

Here is the link for the party in the park.
I don't know when we are going to fit the bbq in back at the site :? It looks like a packed day.

Thanks for that Sarah :) I thought I had put the link in #-o Good photos of last year there! We will check BBQ space on thursday when we arrive at the campsite, but I am sure we'll manage  .Everyone is welcome to this event and there is something for all ages. The campsite must be nearly full, but still a couple of places left with us . Anyone wishing to tag along see link on first page and quote " Bongo Bunch" :D But be quick :)

I meant timewise with the bbq
Also (a bit cheeky), shall we bring our bbq to join in or can we stick our burgers on your (presumably) much larger barbie?
We don't mind bringing ours and sharing the coals although it won't fit huge steaks as it is a bit wee.

Not long now :D

That's very sweet, Sarah :) You can bring your own bbq if you wish, but I don't think you'll need it. Jimmy will take Bigdaddy BBQ. If you prefer your own burgers, that will be fine, otherwise the burgers etc, are on Jimmy   (It's the first of many meets in this area, so need to celebrate). I am not sure whether to bring salad and coleslaw, this time, as it didn't go down too well at other meets and was wasted. Might do a Chilli though, if you like hot food. I will play it by ear and according to the weather. Might even ask Tina if she will stick some oven chips in her oven. Everybody likes chips :D and of course beans  .
I am looking forward to it and hope it goes as well as I expect it too. Ordered sunshine!!

Cheers Anna

We had a tim of Spam left over from Mabelthporpe - surplus to requirements. So we ate it on the shores of Lake Garda at the end of May :D . Our replacement is PEK  similar content but made in Poland. Advantage over Spam is that it is circular and fits a burger bun better
