It's not obligatory to eat in the cafe, but it's there if needed.

This is looking like a big meet!

We can come.

Is it bring a picnic? Winter BBQ or the Cafe?

Seems a bit weird to bring a camper then eat in a cafe.......... but I am new to this.

Due to Mrs B having to go in for repairs (if she was a Bongo it would be a bit like MOT, with oil change and coolant flush/bleed, but she's not a Bongo so it's rather more fuss) I don't think we're going to get to check out the Pensford pubs before the meet.

If anyone should be passing and have a chance to we'd appreciate it. I did notice that the George and Dragon just got Cask Marque accreditation, so should be ok, and I have been in the Traveller's Rest, albeit a good while ago, and it was fine.

Looks like we'll be turning up in an empty van, got a full conversion booked for Monday 1st December. It's the van having the conversion, by the way, not me.

So I'll be round the caff.
Unless someone's got a BBQ going!

Sausage rolls and beer sounds good, but you're over the top with the Birthday Cake. Or is that a hint?

With regards to a shared (American?) meal we are planning to bring a large pan of home made pea and ham soup if anyone fancies a taste :D

Is there a specific start time, or are we just wandering in as and when?

Glad to hear there's a soup kitchen coming! Times are hard.

Oh well, split metal tube with coolant all over the place. One on order from Japanise Auto Solutions tonight, will have to see how it goes. This will be the fourth coolant/bleed change this year.

I have been watching this thread and it is beginning to tempt me up the motorway. Has all the makings of a good day out. All we will need is the sun, so I will bring it with me. See you there!
