Checked out carparks near by prom etc and in Lytham & St Annes . All stated no overnight parking are sleeping in vehicles. The council here are very tough. It's a risk you will have to take if you decide to wild camp
.

No Probs Mike. Yes they have changed the signs . We checked the same carpark at the back of the beach a while ago for someone , and it did used to be free, but now no overnight parking allowed. Theres all double yellow lines in most south shore area,s and town.

Re: blackpool illuminations 18th october daymeet
Don't know if I should admit to this on here
but we have booked a Premier Inn room, instead of sleeping in the Bongo!
As we have so far to travel, we thought it was best, so we can now just enjoy the meet without the hastle of finding somewhere to sleep for the night
My son can't wait - he is sooooo looking forward to going on a tram! The last time we were in Blackpool (middle of August, on the way upto our Scottish tour - visting hubbys Auntie in Blackpool) we didn't have time to go on one for him - the time before that, the trams weren't running....so this time will be third time lucky for him

we can set of anytime that day to go to blackpool so for those of you coming from yorkshire do you fancy meeting up with us and all go in convoy to Blackpool. the guys from york and over that way are more or less passing us anyway, if you fancy it let us know and we can arrange a time and place to meet up. might as well do it in style

So how many people are now going? Is there an updated list? We put our name down a few pages ago but just wondered how many Bongo's are hitting Blackpool that weekend? I cant wait as we only got too British Bash this year and that was our first meet. Not much happens in the Midlands

Hi dreamwarrioruk. Looks like its gonna be a good day. Really looking forward to it and meeting more fellow Bongonauts. I'm trying to get more people from the Midlands interested. Only Hoggman and ourselves at the mo, so mini convoy.
