Hi folks.....it would appear that Dabs has posted and been deleted.....CharityFarm is definitely OFF...it is very sad that this has happened...BUT...NO-ONE....can control the weather.....it was the campsite owner who cancelled not Dabs.......we are gutted that this weekend is not happening....but we should look forward to the next meet....if it ever happens...!
Alan...still plodding on....!

I kind of deleted it, I separated the unhelpful comments from the rest of the thread and Dabs' post went west with them - so to enable people to see that the event was cancelled I quoted the post in both parts of the thread.

Good luck for whatever anyone now does this weekend, the next NW bash for us is the October Silverdale meet.

Never forget it's all supposed to be about Bongos, keep it going

Seems to me there are too many chiefs on here and not enough indians.

I was looking forward to the event. Loged on and page 5 is inconsistent with page 4. And I can't find out what has occorred. As an adult I find censorship insulting, there are a couple of people on here that I have issuses with but would be happy to sit down with and address them.
Closing a thread is ok, censorship is not.

I have been reading through all the posts that have beem genarated on this topic.
And in no way am i going to takes sides on the matter.
I have been on on the forums for a good few years now and as soon as i came on to the Bongofury foum i couldnt belive how freindly the forum was,
I know Pete snowkiter will agrea on this one and some other kite flying peeps the kite foums and some other forums are too ploitical and as a brand importer of kites i had death threats and threats to beet me up if i didnt stop selling my kites,
This is just a little of what goes on on the foum,.
So come on everyone lets not make this one of those forums, [-X
Also some of you might be aware that my wife is deaf and before her implant ( no not breasts ) her only way of comunication was text and fax .
Belive me i know what can be read in a text and a fax and its not whats they mean.
Text and fax can be miss read and read out of the wong context,,
She has had many of arguments with family and friend due to miss reading the text
You cant show emotions and expresions with text..
I feel that this has all been a silly agrument thats got out of control and miss read, and i sugest that all involved should be men about it meet up in a nutral place on there own and just sit and talk not fall out ..
come on guys this a freinldy place alot has been said lets put it behind and get on bongoing ..
Life is too short,
Lets keep the foum a happy place.
Have fun.
Take care everyone

I agree with everything said by cabte. In fact I would be happy to donate a bottle of whisky to help get people chilled - it's not the cheap stuff either, it was a gift to me and I'm not a whisky drinker.

C'mon guys, let bygones be bygones and let's get back to having fun - that's what Bongoing is all about.

not censorship, it was just moved to the big girls blouse section  , but because that forum hasnt been used before no one can actually see inside it, Ian is going to look into the problem after he get back from his holiday

Well I am up for discussing this in a neautral and calm atmosphere.
Yes, lots of things were said, some were misinterpreted and it caused friction.
So lets meet and talk this over like men and not little school boys, with bitchy comments.

Name the place Dave (Dabs) at least the weather will not screw it up for us.

Regards

I am flabbergasted that this thread has been butchered. Very "unhelpful", so don't expect any more from me if concilliatory posts are deleted in future... better things to do with my time
