Karena, I don't think we are allowed the marquee at this meet, but there was a mention about using the play barn? Is that the case Mike?

yes, eddie wasn't too keen on marquees on the site and they don't like gazebos.
if its anything like 2 years ago we all sat out in a big circle cooking and drinking in the open air.he said we could use the playbarn if the weathers bad. I hope we don't need to tho. when I take the deposits down to him I wil check on the suitability for our use.

play barn could add an interesting dimension to bongo meets i remember how us country teenagers used to play in barns

yep same with me and mike,i can remember how we used to play in his barn up on his mums farm,good fun wot.

quick update.
thank you all for the money for the deposits, had a cracking meal with it,btw the events now cancelled and im leaving the country.
only joking havnt had the meal but the moneys in my swiss bank account earning loads of interest.
all paid up now bar one potential victim (err bongoer) still the one place left.
nowt else has changed much except the weathers better than last week.now its only 66mph and snowing so should be ok in june.
anyone got anywhere they fancy visiting while in york, i could dig around and see what we can offer. or is it the usual meeting criteria
get drunk, have a bbq and then finish it off with a round of beers.i havnt planned anything to do as yet but im open to suggestions.

we dont need pubs for that, marquee poles do just as well and the north west section has its own pole dancers, I/m sure there,ll be a greasy slide in the play barn.
