Best weather since April and great company, too, not to mention the stunning location - who could ask for more!
Torchwood, you are a very easy family to feed - any time at all, it's a pleasure!
Harry, now I know what you like for breakfast!!!
Seriously, thanks so much for putting it all together. As ever the marquee as meeting point made the weekend special.
Roll on the spring...
Thanks to all those posting pics, too. Some crackers!

Can't add anything much to whats been said. A stunning meeting in a stunning setting that I'd never have known about but for Harry.
Thanks to Sandra for shining a light on the words to songs I should have known but didnt
Thanks to Mrs Peg Leg for her outstanding work (again) organising events for the kids. I hardly saw my son Will from the moment we arrived to the moment he left. He had the best time ever.
Thanks to Torchy for taking over my guitar - he does the 'crowd thing' much better than I ever can. Excellent input from Jetskier there too +++
Thaks to Mr & Mrs Karena for a lovely cup of tea and company, and to Pete (Snowkiter?) my next door neighbour for his roof tent lights.
Only sorry I didnt get around to meet more people. Especially the Bongo we ended up convoying with on the M6 on our way up (around 3:30pm Saturday) but who we parted company with at the roundabout by the M6 exit. They went right but...
SatNav Said Left
...meant to seek you out at the meet as I think you did arrive there, but got waylaid as usual.
And that sunset was unforgettable
Thanks Harry - URA*
Mike
PS - and Wayne & Co - so very glad you are OK and that you get that Bongo fixed ASAP

Thanks Harry and all the 40+ bongolier families for a great visit to a hitherto hidden beauty spot. Daff, Cal & I had a great day on Saturday and we look forward to seeing you all as soon as possible - Mad Northerners in Vests in March maybe?
Thanks again.
Pat Mc Kenna (just finished marking the exercise books he neglected on Saturday. Now I.08 am Sunday night into Monday morning, but who's clockwatching...)

Mike -
he does the 'crowd thing' much better than I ever can
...I assume by "crowd thing" you mean putting me on stage just after last orders to clear the crowds?
BigDaddyCain -
That's actually how I get just over 40 Mpg - I get out and bike everywhere!
Will post up the mods in a new thread when I get the time later this week - house like Hiroshima at the moment, in fact more like an explosion in a plaster and cement factory thanks to the extension - might be sleeping in my Freda more than I expected!

Hi Sorry for the delay in posting our thank yous but we have been struggling with photobucket.
We would like to thank Harry, pleasure to meet you. Thanks for letting us come last minute. What a glorious spot to visit. Would not have happened without you.
Our weekend began with a knight in shining armour who stepped out of the dark with a torch or two and stayed and helped way beyond the call of neighbourlyness. What a gent dreamwarrior(Mile) is.
We met up with Pete and Gillian and their lovely family and Jim and Hazel who cooked our supper on the barbeque. Thank you guys lovely to see you. Happy Birthday Ethan.
We met new friends Jason and Erica, Dot and Hubby from the beach and Woodenwheel who came and introduced themselves as they live close to us.
We met Betty Bongo and Louis Bongo who were such fun, we love people from Bristol.
We have read the forum since considering a bongo and it was such a pleasure to meet in person harry, Daveblueozzie, Dabs, and Storm and Jackie.
We apologise for continually forgetting peoples names.
We only took a few pics cause we were too busy talking.
Thank you for the weekend.

A BIG Thanks for a great NW welcome and a lovely weekend. Now on the Wirral recovering; not sure if it was the alcohol or Storm's tea! Thanks Storm for a very welcome cuppa on Sunday Morn. 'Big D', I've put the wheel trims on the van, it's so much better.
Thanks to you all for a good time and look forward to seeing you all again.
