Although we can't make it ( we are down at the New Forest bash), I have had a call from a certain Nev Salmon of Wakefield. He's bought a Bongo, wants to get it converted, but unsure on how to proceed. I told him about this meet, and said it will be OK for him to pop along on Saturday or Sunday. Hope this is OK. He won't be staying overnight.

Sorry folks, can't make it. I've got to work Friday and Saturday and, with several others away on leave, there's nobody to swap with. :( :( :(

had 966 veiws and that is good since everyone has probably read it,but it is going to be a bit of a small gathering as there is only 6 bongos i think that is going.what is wrong with york,it is a brill city for the young and old especially in the summer months, plenty of shops, old streets, cliffords tower, the minster with fasinating veiws from the top,i hear as i am scared of heights, theatres, plenty of pubs, old traditional ones and new wine bars,a very big wheel like the london eye, railway museum, castle museum which even i like as you travel back in time, jorvik viking centre which you learn and see the sights and smells of how the vikings live, work and play, what more can i add. oh yes and the river trips that are quite relaxing especially on a summers evening,or you can hire your own little red boat and be captain of your own boat for an hour.thanks for reading this and i hope you do come to york sometime in the future,
loads more things to do if you want to ask me.
