Glad I did this as I'm in two minds about the colour... bright green RAL 6018 with white as per the pic below, or 6011 (light sage green)??????

Really please with the rear seats :D

Paint arrived today, so I will be unbolting what I can and paint them inside. The rest of the van will have to wait until it gets warmer (March/April :? )

Wow!

Looking sharp - how easy were the front seats to fit?
Back look amazing and some work... =D>

The front seats were difficult, as I cut the base of the Mazda seat and welded them to the base of the Alfa GTV seats (removed Alfa runners). Overall, they are a bit too high, but fine for me and much more comfortable. I saw on ebay a guy selling RX8 seats which appear to be an easier fit. If I was doing it again, I would remove the engine covers and modify them (cut and weld base to fit wider runner base) to fit the donor seat runners.

RX8 are exactly what I'm thinking of, those Alfa interiors though are beautifully made.

Does the n/s rear window open, as mine does not have a latch as per the o/s rear?

Nope - as opening the slide door would smash it

Do the GTV seats (or RX8 seats if anyone knows.....) tilt forward far enough so you could still use the footrest as a rear-facing seat (and can you keep the footrest with these seats as a necessary precursor to the above question!)

Has anyone fitted any other seats where this is possible? I really fancy some leather seats but the cost of having the Bongo ones re-covered professionally is too much

The GTV seats do tilt forward a bit as they are from a 2 door car and you can retain the foot rest.

Thanks. I think I will bond a shelf to the window as my kitchen pod is on the n/s  :D
