Got a welcome reprieve on the surgery, postponed until late October, so now I can a.) get some more Bongo camping in first :D and b.) get the Waeco MS-50 installed beforehand.

I'll PM simon jones to ask for a copy of his MS-50 installation fact sheet but from what I've gleaned in the forum so far, all reported MS-50 Bongo installations seem to have been on 2.5TD's.

Has anybody installed one in a V6? A cursory look a couple of weeks back suggested that mounting the vac servo to allow throttle cable operation directly onto the V6's cable pivot plate (mounted high up, tight under the central part of the engine cover) will be difficult. I know there are alternative ways of linking servo cable to throttle system, although I've still to go carefully through them to see if one of them would be a better solution. Meanwhile, if somebody already worked it out, I'll be very grateful for any tips. [-o< Thanks.
Looked again at V6 Waeco install, after first doing a table top mock up. In our LPG-converted V6 at least, it is not possible to install the system in the engine compartment - might even be difficult in an uncoverted V6. Have worked out how to do an under the bonnet (front compartment) install, with throttle pedal connection of the Bowden cable off the vacuum servo/actuator - too short to reach the engine throttle control valve from there - and speedo VSS wire speed pick up. No crawling under the Bongo - hooray. Will be doing it this week, and will then post pix, plus Simon Jones is going to add to his work in progress fact sheet. Cheers all, David

Finished, pleased with the result, and it worked first time - but it was a devil to install for an overweight, clumsy creature like yours truly. Posting details in a new thread, next job.

Hi guys my Audiovox css100 arrived yesterday from eBay USA at great expense.
To my horror I've no cable pull on my fuel pump it's drive by wire . The pump is 479778-5020 serial number .
Does the css100 cater for drive by wire without the servo cable action , or will I have to either atach it to the gas pedal or sell it on, and buy a waeco ?
Help pls
