Brilliant pictures Kirsty. We were devastated to have to withdraw on day three becasue we really enjoyed the company and feeling of being part of a fabulous group. It became apparent that it was due to 'summer' flu caught, we think, on the boat. We are still not over it and have been coughing, spluttering and sneezing all over Europe but on campsites it does not really matter. Just back after 2826 miles at an average of 32.22mpg despite not being able to freewheel with an incline less that 4.5%.
On the day we left you we managed the Brenner Pass and overnighted at a camperstop just inside Italy and then had a scenic drive along Lake Garda arriving at the campsite suggested at 4.00pm on the Saturday. We had hoped to meet up again but with texts taking nearly two days to be delivered we suspected that Jane the satnav controller would take you elsewhere. Glad you met up with Jamie.
All in all we had a brilliant trip and give our thanks to Bob for giving us a reason to get up and do something really interesting and to you for keeping us informed and delivering our real spare wheel.
