I've been to Gibraltar today and things have been moved around a bit.
There are a lot more permanat vans on site but they have installed more hookups.
So we have 17 hookup pitches (minimum) of which 16 are already booked and paid for...so we can accept 1 more hookup booking, after which we start a waiting list.
To get on the waiting list you need to send me the full fee of £30. If you don't get a hookup this will either be refunded in full or you can opt for a non hookup pitch at £10 per night.
The quiet/noisy split should just about work out for the hookups.....Quiet down on the left opposite/past the loos and the family/party peeps around the area where the marquee was last year.
New for this year...the Marquee will be situated in the rally field (bottom of the drive and through the gate on the right. There will be no leccy available on this field but all non hookups vans will be allocated space on here. Any bbq and/or parties must be restricted to this area although we will have a quiet and noisy end.
Hoope that this is all ok.
cheers
H

Sounds quite good - not that my brain could make total sense of it. As long as we are still quite near plenty of people and not stuck in a remote corner on own we will be happy. Noise is no problem

I didn't follow up on this when booking started, having asked to not go on a surgery list until the summer Bongoing (and garden maintenance!) peak was over, and still wasn't sure then what dates would be set.
It's now just been arranged for surgery to be done on the first knee in mid-September, followed soon after by repeat ankle surgery in the same leg - all the result of a long ago road accident. Second knee some time next year, hopefully before the Bongoing season!
So, I'm going to be off the road at the time of the bash. Enjoy it, all of you who are going

Hmm you think the elements of "mother nature" won't do that for us? LOL

Hi there.
Are there any places left for this bash - non-hookup family pitch would be great if poss!
If so, this will be our first bash in our newly converted bongo, so would be great to meet some people whose names I recognise on almost a daily basis!!

Would that be the Saffron by any chance? Great Indian takeaway/restaurant . Even give you free beer!
Where did she do her teaching course (or placement)? I'm a teacher so enjoying 6 weeks of Bongo tinkering at mo!
Fingers crossed for the bash! - 'arry??????

'arry AKA Harry is a nice gent and organising the bash in Silverdale.
Our Nia was teaching in a rough area nearby Mold, I wont wake my Chris up to ask him where (my mind deserts me sometimes times sorry, I ain't really I kinda of like my mind)

)
I remember on the two occasions that we visited the Indian one of the waiters was very emotional. Nia stayed in rented accomodation opposite a nice looking pub but I understand it could get a bit riotous at times.
