As Mike says the entrance to the site is straight off an "A" road.

The address shows Earith Rd, however, Mikes map shows Sheldon rd. My sat Nav - Garmin Streetpilot deluxe. It is 7 years old and still a great Sat Nav, but unfortunately it doesn't tell me that the road is straightforward. It also needs a street name and number to go on. which is usually great, as it will take me right to the door. Post code alone it won't take. I therefore set it for 1 Earith Rd, which doesn't quite take me to the site. That is no problem, because it will be signposted, but I just wondered what the road in was like. Thanks to Mike I now have road and location

Try "86, Earith Road, Willingham" it doesn't become Shelfords Road until a little way past the campsite.

1, Earith Road will be about a mile away down the road actually in the village - but still on the main road though.

It's a nice road; just don't oversteer left or you will end up
in the river! A right hander before the entrance to the site
on the right. From the Earith direction.

Thanks Guys. I will reset the sat nav and watch out for the river . Also decided to bring my son's Tomtom, (which I don't like). Just in case!!!! I never have direction problems, but Campsites are apt to be a bit vague in address. This one's not so bad though!

Stick on the A.14 to Bar Hill (which is where the two lane section ends eastbound) follow the B.1050 north toward Longstanton, Willingham, Earith or whatever it says.

Go through/past Longstanton then into Willingham, which is a very long village (about 2-3 miles long) and as you leave it you are on a very long straight road (dead straight for just about as far as you can see) when you reach the LH bend at the end of the straight the campsite is on the inside of the bend.

From the North (Earith/St.Ives) direction it is indeed wiggly with a sheer drop into the R. Ouse on the nearside.

From the south (A.14/Willingham) it's about as wiggly as the Greenwich
Meridian - which it almost follows!.

Well the weather is good here, only a half dozen of us, but good to meet up, the site is lovely....

Just enjoyed a BBQ with Bongo Friends....lovely Spring evening sunshine here in Cambridgeshire....Happy Days

my tiny tent and bed - I'm only a weak woman - the adorable doggies
and so good to see Chris and Ginge beat the bandits by coming out of it
