I spoke to pam last night she is back home and recovering from the op, though still in some discomfort
but hoping to get some staples removed today.
She is a very spirited and remarkable person, with a fantastic sense of humour all of which I,m sure will carry her through.
She will be back on here very soon but her computer is playing up meanwhile says hi and thanks for good wishes.

Hi everyone !!
Am back in the land of the ...er ....living..it just doesn't feel that brill yet, but do have good days too. I had my 'zip' removed today and am considering 'walking tall' very soon !? It has been a boring time too, so don't be surprised when we next meet if you notice the square eyes

I feel I have been incarcerated for years, and not just a couple of weeks; so with zip gone..decided to put real clothes on and venture outside, the wind was sooooooooo enticing folks. Well, having agreed with myself that I was suitably clothed and had a sort of plan for a short walk, I saw thro the window that an old friend[almost as old as me] had arrived....bringing his own sandwich.....who promptly offered to take a walk with me. I was overjoyed. We walked only a short distance............but boy oh boy.........it was so wonderful to feel the wind in my face again
Lets always remember folks................its the smallest detail in ones daily life that has the capacity to give supreme joy.
Enough of that....hope I've not bored you to death ?
My grateful thanks to Karen for sending me a wonderfully inspiring card, which included copies of all your good wishes too.
I am told that there is a meet at Oxenhope fairly soon [must visit this forum next !] and am hoping so very much that I can make it over there...even just for a short while..on the Saturday.
Fingers crossed this works out and I get to see some lovely smiley bongo faces..........you know what I mean !
Love to you all
Pam x x

I don't know you but I know just what you mean and how very right you are.

I like nothing better than being at the coast or a high place where I can see for miles. And while the wind may not quite blow all our cares away, it feels pretty damn good to be out there.

Take care.
