What a brilliant thread this is. Must check this when I do some servicing in a few weeks (if I can wait that long!) 8)

Pete

If the place you've taken the pipe from is a 'T' on the thin long metal pipe which rises vertically in front of the black plastic cam belt cover....this 'T' should be blanked off if you don't have winter pack .....i.e. 2 batteries and 'engine' switch below right of steering wheel. If you do have winter pack, then a pipe would go from the 'T' to the valve on the exhaust.

Either way, it's fine to blank it off, i think.

Theres a good point. If we pay loads extra for performance mods will we get a refund for pulling the pipe off?

I have just solved the problem with mine, I was beginning to think it was the turbo or diesel pump. I changed the air and diesel filter and it was still not running right, I read on another thread about a gauze flter in the banjo bolt where the fuel pipe goes from the main filter to the pump. I took it out washed it out with diesel and blew it out and put it back together and it drives like a ferrari now8) None of this would have been possible if it weren't for my 10 year old son with his small hands, its not the easiest of places to get at.
