due to the high winds on sat wnw and the time of the tide its high at 1300,wont be able to launch ski,conditions wrong,plus rain all day,im leaving it at home,sorry to those who wanted a ride

Might be worth reserving judgment on that until Thursday - with the accuracy of some of these forecasts, it will probably be a scorcher

Especially now I have a bad back (and after it 'going' at BF Charity Farm do when being forced to move around quickly to keep on top of adverse weather - its not fun being stranded nowhere with 3 kids to manage and with your back completely stuffed) I am extremely averse to wild weather camping.

A fair few coming along this time will remember the Infamous Buxton Bash when the marquee ended up wrapped around Harrys Bongo & a fair few awnings were written off.
That was my first introduction to this madhouse, had a fantasic weekend against all odds!
